Unfortunately, it has always been difficult to keep track of these developments. Ten years ago, the idea that there could be good cricket in (say) Nebraska or Oklahoma would have been treated with a smirk, or a disbelieving stare. There are twice as many leagues/associations as in 1990, clubs and teams associated with leagues/associations have also doubled, and the number of players has also increased substantially over the past decade. It is the state and metropolitan leagues and associations that have been flourishing in the last decade. The major strength of cricket in the USA is at the regional level.
